Sielaff has been focusing on energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly solutions long before it became the norm. It therefore goes without saying that most of our vendors have an energy efficiency rating of A or higher as standard.

Our programming options for both the chiller units and illumination play a large part in being more energy efficient e.g. by programming the illumination to switch off at weekends or overnight, or by setting the temperature slightly higher.

The EVA has developed a protocol for measuring the energy consumption of vending machines. This will be known as the EVA-energy measurement protocol (EMP). The purpose of this is to establish guidelines, by which vending machines can be evaluated.
